Fitzpatrick Team are pleased to have donated a property to the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP).
To give people a shelter is a basic human need and we are pleased to be associated with a group of like-minded charities that have come together to deliver this crucial help. In collaboration with The Pilion Trust, Housing Justice, Streets Kitchens and many other supporters and charities the project offers overnight accommodation to immediately assist during the worst of the weather.
This has enabled many vulnerable people to make links with follow on organisations that can help throughout the whole year. We have many years experience in delivering social housing and we are particularly pleased to have been a partner in this exciting pilot project.
Over this period, we have worked on many thousands of local authority properties as contractors and were engaged in new build residential accommodation, refurbishment of existing stock and emergency maintenance works.
We worked extensively on council premises such as town halls, libraries, swimming baths, schools, parks etc. We also worked with many public bodies.
We were appointed design and build contractor to a major housing association building their Islington HQ. We worked with the “City Challenge” projects providing training and apprenticeships and with two major training organisations for adults and young people wishing to progress within the construction industry.
Fitzpatrick Team Developments recognise the importance of public housing and special circumstance accommodation and have in the past few years completed projects.
In the past few years, following on from the provision of refurbished premises for a noteable homelessness charity we have completed many projects, including purposley designed accommodation for people to live in partially communal accommodation and encorage then to re-establish independant living within the community.
